About Tintswalo Safari Lodge & Manor House
Manyeleti Game Reserve is a private reserve and borders three unfenced parks. Wildlife viewing here is exceptional! The 23,000-hectare reserve is prime Big Five territory. Birders are welcome here as Manyeleti (which means “place of stars”) is home to over 300 species of African birds. The reserve is managed by the local tribe called ‘Mnisi’.

The watering hole in front of the lodge is perfect for viewing the game while having a glass of wine. Guests can wander around the property, which is connected by wooden paths, and there’s also a restaurant, small library, wine cellar and lounge area available. There’s the option to go on early morning or afternoon game drives – and the vehicles are fully equipped with blankets, spotlights for night game viewing and binoculars.

Tintswalo Safari Lodge & Manor House is perfect for guests who are looking for a private safari experience. The Safari Lodge is made up of 7 suites and the Manor House is a fully-catered villa with 4 rooms and one room for two children. The Manor House can host up to 10 guests – and is perfect for multi-generational families or groups travelling.

The Tintswalo Safari Lodge’s suites are spacious and individually decorated with a touch of colonial décor. Guests can choose from 6 gorgeous suites and 1 presidential suite, each of which features a private plunge pool and viewing deck. The exclusive suites overlook the seasonal river which is visited by game and boasts prolific birdlife. For an extra touch of comfort, there’s an ensuite bathroom as well as an indoor and outdoor shower. The rooms are air-conditioned. Each of the suites is named after a famous explorer who came to Africa: Baker, Livingstone, Kingsley, Burton, Speke and Stanley.
