As the biggest lodge in the reserve, Thornybush Game Lodge’s Main Camp is great for hosting conferences and weddings yet it’s also perfect for couples who prefer a private atmosphere. Thornybush Game Lodge is lavish and elegant, and overlooks the seasonal Monwana River. It’s the perfect location for a classic safari in South Africa! The lodge is well suited for families as there are experienced babysitters on hand and children’s activities available. Game viewing is a pleasure here with everything from game drives, birding walks to photography excursions on offer.

Depending on your needs, there are 2 family suites and 18 luxury suites on hand. The family suites boast a private deck and plunge pool – with a fantastic view – and has a sleeper couch that accommodates two children. The luxury suites use earth tones for the interior, providing a calming atmosphere. The en-suite bathrooms feature a double basin, large bath and indoor-outdoor shower.
