About Tafika Camp

Perfect for honeymooners or couples, Tafika Camp is an intimate camp in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park. The owner-run bush camp is headed up by John and Carol Coppinger. Shaded under Leadwood trees, this is for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. With amazing views over the river, you can sit back and watch elephants, hippos and antelope by the water.

It’s located in the beautiful Nsefu Sector, on the northern side of the park, along with two smaller bush camps. These are situated on the other side of the river; to ensure a quiet atmosphere for guests and privacy.

How to get there: International flights arrive into Lusaka. From there, guests take a charter flight to the private Lukuzi airstrip. It’s a short 15-minute drive from Tafika Camp.

Note: Only children from the age of 12 are welcome.
