Steenberg Luxury Accommodation

The Heritage Suites offer luxury accommodation combined with magnificent views of the Steenberg Vineyards, Golf Course and False Bay. Each Suite is decorated in a style which embraces the 325 year history of the property, and celebrates the colour of Cape Town through an eclectic assortment of both historic antiques as well as contemporary features, in order to create a distinguished and memorable atmosphere.

There are also three unique suites called The Cape Colonial, The Khoikhoi and The Dutch East India, each one designed as a contemporary interpretation that pays tribute to three very distinct periods of history in the Cape, whilst offering guests supreme luxury and service excellence. The Jonkershuis (meaning young mans house) provides the rest of the accommodation in these beautifully renovated set of suites, keeping within the Law for the preservation of Historic Buildings in the Cape.

Steenberg Fine Dining

Tryn Restaurant is an award-winning fine dining restaurant at the Steenberg Luxury Hotel in Constantia. Contemporary, and stunningly beautiful, this 50-seater restaurant casts spectacular views of the vineyards, the lush Constantia Valley, and False Bay beyond. The cuisine at Tryn offers diners a unique and sophisticated twist of contemporary flavors with South African flair. The cuisine is not only highly talented, but very inventive, and consistently places new dishes on the menu which tease the palate with ever-changing flavours.

An innovative addition to the hotel is the new Bistro 1682 cellar door restaurant where guests can enjoy a more informal experience but equally sophistacted taste of cuisine. The menu features tapas, bistro-style cuisine, and sumptuous breakfasts, making it an ideal venue for lunch, or a long, lazy brunch.

Another twist is Steenberg Hotel’s unique Raw Bar which offers counter seating over-looking an interesting seletion of healthy and delicious raw cuisine such as sashimi, gravadlax, ceviche, carpaccios, oysters and tartars; all freshly prepared on order by designated chefs.

Gorgeous by Graham Beck, is the first brand-exclusive bubbly bar in South Africa, a statement for indulgent elegance. From the Vivienne Westwood wallpapering to the Tom Dixon lighting, guests can wallow in comfortable lounge-style areas or alongside the classy bar.
