About Singita Sasakwa Lodge

Located in the Grumeti Reserves in northern Tanzania, the lodge offers guests one of the best locations for experiencing the Great Migration. This is the place for travellers who are looking for one of the best wildlife sightings (or dare we say, spectacles!) of East Africa. Here, the plains stretch out as far as the eye can see; and as the Singita Sasakwa Lodge is built on a hill, the views are wide, breathtaking and majestic.

This colonial-style lodge is also home to stables, and guests can go on horseback safaris through the wilderness. There are also ponies available and horses that are better suited for beginners or first-time riders. With only 10 villas, Sasakwa is all about privacy and tranquilty; it’s the perfect place for honeymooners and couples as well as a multi-generational family travelling together.

The lodge only accommodates 34 guests at a time to ensure an intimate safari experience in Tanzania. Guests can choose from nine cottages and one villa, each boasting opulent interiors, a spacious bathroom and a private infinity pool. Of course, for those who prefer to be active on their holidays, the lodge has an onsite gym with fitness equipment. There’s also a spa where guests can choose from different treatments, which is a great way to relax, especially after game drives. For those who want to take something special back home, there’s the Singita Boutique & Gallery with a range of curios and clothing items.
