Giving you front-row seats to the migration spectacle in East Africa, Serengeti Under Canvas is a mobile tented camp that follows the migrating herds in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. This reserve is one of the last migration corridors on the earth. Imagine waking up and your camp is surrounded by hundreds of wildebeest!

About Serengeti Under Canvas
Serengeti Under Canvas is a mobile camp, which means the camp moves location about 5 to 6 times a year to make sure that guests have the best location of the migration. The Serengeti National Park is, after all, a whopping 14 750 km² large! While this is a mobile camp, it’s not missing any luxuries: you’ll have a private butler and specialist guide to take care of you. The sitting tent, for example, has plush couches and serves cool cocktails; here every detail is thought of and you’ll have everything that you desire.

Serengeti Under Canvas Accommodation
Guests at Serengeti Under Canvas can choose from 8 canvas tents that are each erected in such a way that each guest has complete privacy and wide views of the surrounding plains. The tents are comfortable with a ceiling that extends out from the tent as well as elegant furnishings (imagine bespoke side tables not usually seen at campsites).
Your verandah is carpeted and has canvas chairs so that you can sit back and watch the animals. The en-suite bathroom (at the back of the tent) has hot water bucket showers. At night, romantic lamps light up the tent with a soft glow. There’s also a much larger family tent that can fit up to 4 children. The camp welcomes children, and each child receives a special bag containing a game logbook and other goodies!
