About Puku Ridge Camp

The remote location of Puku Ridge Camp offers wide, panoramic views of the Kakumbi Dambo floodplain in South Luangwa National Park. This game-rich area means that you can participate in “armchair game viewing” from the lodge’s main area or your tent’s verandah. There’re all kinds of animals here: predators like leopard and lion to herds of giraffe, zebra and elephant. Of course, there is also the famous puku antelope after which the lodge was named.

Guests at Puku Ridge Camp have the choice of 7 luxury tents, which are very spacious and have wrap-around windows. In the mornings, you can enjoy the views of the floodplains from your private balcony. The tents themselves are beautifully decorated with a blend of African textiles and natural materials. After your game drive, you can have a hot bath in your ensuite’s bathtub or use the inside (or outside) shower. For hot days, you can make use of the fans in the rooms.
