The Oyster Box hotel is of a bygone era and has been lovingly refurbished by the Red Carnation Group. Perched on the ocean’s edge, the Oyster Box commands spectacular views over the Indian Ocean. Originally built as a beach cottage in 1869, it retained it’s name when converted to a hotel in the 1930’s and has remained a landmark along the Kwazulu Natal north coast.
