About Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Located in the Crater Highlands of Northeastern Tanzania, the lodge is part of the Serengeti ecosystem and borders the Serengeti National Park on the north-west. It’s here that you can experience the zebra and wildebeest Migration. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is a more affordable alternative to the luxury options available in the area.
The lodge’s design is inspired by the traditional conical roofs of the tribes who live in the nearby Ngorongoro area. Drawing inspiration from local artists, the lodge’s interiors feature wood carvings, tapestry and artworks that represent Tanzania’s rich culture. On the larger side, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge can accommodate over 200 people so it’s ideal for groups or families travelling together. Relax by the side of the pool, meet the locals from nearby villages or just sit back and enjoy the views over the caldera.
If you’re after an exceptional dining experience, wander over to the Lemala Hill Restaurant for an exquisite culinary experience. Or visit the Crater View Bar for a glass of red wine or single malt whiskey to enjoy the crater’s views.
