Motswari Safari Lodge in the Timbavati Private Game reserve stretches over 150 square kilometres, and has been in the hands of the Geiger family for over 40 years. Motswari Safari Lodge (meaning to conserve and protect in the Tswana language) lies in an incomparable position where the landscape is teeming with wildlife of all kinds (not just the big 5), partly due to the open fence boundary system with the Kruger National Park. On the other side of the reserve is the Blyde River Canyon, another unique place of beauty which lends its water source as a focus and attraction for the wildlife of the region.
