About Mara Plains Camp
Situated in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, on the northern border of the Masai Mara National Reserve, Mara Plains Camp is a cosy haven of understated charm and elegance. The camp embraces the rich diversity of cultures in the area, resulting in a retreat that underscores the natural beauty of the surrounding wilderness.
Blood reds and deep purples speak of the Maasai warriors, while the chunky wooden doors originate from the coastal island of Lamu. The rest of the décor borrows heavily from the Maasai and Arab cultures, as well as from the opulence of the colonial era.
