About Lion Sands Tinga Lodge
Right on the Sabie River, guests at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge can explore two different ecosystems – the river and the bush. Bordering the world-renowned Kruger National Park, this 5000-hectare of bushland is unspoiled and rich in wildlife. At this lodge, you can track down a leopard or a herd of elephants – or you can just wait for them to come to you for an “armchair safari”.


Lion Sands Tinga Lodge Accommodation
The suites at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge are spacious (125 sq meter) with a double/ twin bed. Each suite has a private plunge pool, air-conditioning, mini bar and an indoor-outdoor shower. There’s also a central pool at the main lodge for those who want to splash around. Families can book the Hi’Nkweni Family Villa, which is available for kids from the age of 6 (the suites only take kids from the age of 10). The Family Villa is 222 sq meter in size and babysitting is available too. There’s only one Family Villa available so make sure to book it in advance.
