Lion Sands Ivory Lodge Accommodation

Guests can choose from eight suites – and each suite comes with a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, fireplace and air-conditioning. The double beds are convertible to twin beds if friends or travellers from a group are sharing a room. There are two villa types at Lion Sands Ivory Lodge: One-bedroom Villa that can accommodate up to 16 guests and has 8 suites, and the Two-bedroom Fish Eagle Villa that can accommodate 6 guests (4 adults and 2 children).

Ivory Lodge’s property is home to two luxury treehouses: guests at either villa can book a night at Chalkley Treehouse or Kingston Treehouse. The former is named after Guy Aubrey Chalkley, a famous explorer, who once set up camp in an ancient Leadwood to escape predators at night. It’s a traditional African treehouse – a platform under the stars with romantic lighting and a mosquito net bed. Kingston Treehouse, on the other hand, is a modern take on the treehouse concept. Made of wood and glass, this contemporary treehouse is set between white boulders and boasts luxurious furnishings.
