La Residence is located an easy 1 hour drive from Cape Town, situated in the gorgeous Franschhoek Valley, nestled away on a 30-acre estate surrounded by orchards, vineyards, wild flowers, herbs, and even a springbok sanctuary. Five Villas in the Vineyard are a stone’s throw away from La Residence main house and enjoy a tranquil vineyard setting. There are stylish rooms for dining and relaxing and luxurious bedrooms with marble en-suite bathrooms. All have private terraces and gardens; four have their own pools. Guests can dine either in their villa, or at the central Terrace Room, beside a fire, or at the stunning double rim-flow pool. An open kitchen allows full interaction with the chef; the Sitting Room is very cosy with a private bar and wide-screen television.

La Residence Restaurant is central to the main house and possesses an air of manor hall, glittering with dazzling chandeliers, checkered flooring, and vast fireplaces. Outside dining takes place in the Persian Alley, which creates a delightful setting for alfresco summer meals.
