Zanzibar, also known as the “Spice Island”, is an island that lies just off the coast of Tanzania. It has a rich history as a former stop for merchants travelling by ship. Located on the north-west coast, Kilindi Zanzibar resort is private and a bespoke destination for travellers. Guests can sit back and watch the dhows sailing past from their villa’s private verandah or plunge pool. Kilindi Zanzibar is situated just an hour away from Stone Town, perfect for those who are interested in the island’s fascinating history. It’s possible to see Tumbatu Island and the traditional dhows from the resort. There’s a 24-meter infinity pool, a bar with a waterfall feature and an indoor-outdoor dining area.

Guest can choose from 15 domed Pavilion Suites, which all have their own private plunge pool (two per villa!) “rainfall” shower rooms, courtyard gardens and beds that have a “Cool Air” air-conditioning system. The bathrooms are luxurious. Besides the rainfall shower, the bathrooms have his-her vanity wash basins and wide views of the tropical gardens. Guests can relax on their sun terrace with lounge furniture, and enjoy room service with a dedicated butler.
