About Governors’ Camp
Governors’ Camp rests in the heart of Maasai Mara National Reserve, with unbroken views over the plains and the Mara River. Relax with sundowners on the deck of the bar area as you take in the vast expanses – while keeping an eye open for lolloping hippos heading out for their evening meal.
Revel in the romance of candlelit dinners in the forest or along the river, before heading up to bed in your spacious, luxury tent. Wake up to a morning game drive, and return to a buffet breakfast complete with fresh, Kenyan coffee.
Governors Camp’ Accommodation
Guests can choose from 37 luxury canvas tents – 12 doubles, and 24 suited for twin occupancy. Half the tents border the riverbank while the rest overlook the majestic plains of the Masai Mara.
The stylish and comfortable tents each boast an en-suite bathroom complete with hot and cold water for the shower and basin, as well as a flush toilet and bidet. A private verandah offers seclusion while still allowing guests to soak up the landscape and wildlife.
