About Chongwe River Camp

One of Africa’s most scenic wilderness areas, Zambia’s Lower Zambezi is home to the Big Five, a wide variety of wild African animals and gorgeous views. Chongwe River Camp is located in the middle of the prime habitat zone at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi River, set against a mountain backdrop. It’s here that you can participate in land- and water-based activities.

Guests at Chongwe River Camp in Zambia can choose from nine Classic Tents and two Tented Suites. The suites are especially perfect for honeymooners or couples. And the Cassia Suite has a private plunge pool and fire pit with the Zambezi only meters away. Each suite also has a canopied lounge and private dining area. The Albida Suite is just as lovely with similar features and is perfect for a family of four.
