About AndBeyond Klein’s Camp

Set in the middle of Maasai-owned land, on over 10,000 hectares (24,700 acres) of a private wildlife concession in the Serengeti, this is the perfect place for walking safaris and game drives. The land has been leased from Maasai landlords, which allows for guests to do night drives and game walks in the Serengeti National Park.

Massive herds of zebra and wildebeest migrate through the vast plains each year. Guests are likely to see lion, cheetah, leopard as well as huge herds of plains game. For those who are avid birdwatchers, there are many species of birds of prey (including eagles) and other smaller bird species to see.

Guests at AndBeyond Klein’s Camp can choose from 10 cottages (that also includes a converted family unit) with uninterrupted views of the Serengeti plains. Each cottage has whitewashed stone walls, wooden floors and a thatched roof that includes an en-suite bathroom, private verandah and mosquito nets. There’s also Wi-Fi available inside the cottages but no TVs to distract you. The interiors are decorated with silver, china and fine linen – and at night there’s candlelight throughout the lodge.
