Itinerary

Day 1:  On arrival at ORT International Airport (Johannesburg) you will connect onto a flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport where on arrival you will collect your Avis rental car and drive to Jatinga Country House 5 star, situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of White River, only a mere 4 ½ km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The lodge is also within easy driving distance to the many scenic attractions of the Panorama Route, including the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the historical mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest.  (BB)

Day 2: Jatinga Country House 5 star

Day 3: Depart Jatinga Country House 5 star and drive to Komati Tented Lodge 5 star situated near Barbarton in the Nkomazi Game Reserve for 2 nights. (FB)

Day 4: Komati Tented Lodge 5 star Nkomazi Game Reserve

Day 5: Depart Nkomazi Game Reserve and drive south to the Kingdom of Swaziland to the Forresters Arms 4 star for 1 night.  The Forresters Arms 4 star is situated near Mbabane, the capital of the Kingdom of Swaziland.  (DBB)

Day 6: Depart Kingdom of Swaziland and drive to the Kwazulu Natal Battlefield area of Rorke’s Drift, and spend 2 nights at Fugitives Drift 5 star.  The Zulu War of 1879 is famous throughout the English-speaking world for the great battles of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. The spectacular Fugitives’ Drift property, a 5000 acre Natural Heritage Site, overlooks both Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift.

Day 8: Depart Fugitives Drift 5 star and head for the coast of Kwazulu Natal and Umhlanga Rocks where you will be staying for 2 nights at Anchor’s Rest Guest House 4 star. Anchor’s Rest Guest House offers upmarket guest suites and is just a short walk to the golden beaches of Umhlanga Rocks (BB)

Day 10: Drive from Umhlanga Rocks to King Shaka International Airport (Durban) where you will drop off your Avis rental car and fly to Port Elizabeth Airport.  On arrival in Port Elizabeth you will collect your Avis rental car and drive 3 hours to Knysna where you will spend 2 nights at Elephant Hide of Knysna Guest Lodge 4 star (BB) on the Knysna Lagoon, Garden Route

Day 12: Depart Knysna and drive south on the N2 to the winelands town of Franschhoek where you will overnight at La Petite Ferme Guests Suites, Restaurant and Winery 4 star for 1 night.  La Petite Ferme Guest Suites, Restaurant & Winery 4 star has an award-winning restaurant and boutique Winery.  The accommodation at La Petite Ferme is set amongst vineyards on a working wine farm boasting magnificent views over the Franschhoek Valley.  (BB)
