You will be pampered galore at the award-winning luxury boutique hotel Kensington Place which sits at the foot of Table Mountain in a quiet, upmarket suburb of the city. Don’t be fooled though – the location may be serene and private, but you are a mere 5 minute drive from the centre of bustling Cape Town with its myriad of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. You are also well placed to take in all that the Cape peninsula has to offer including a ride up Table Mountain, trip to Robben Island, trip to Cape Point and the penguin colony at Boulders and wine tasting in the oldest wine making Cape region in South Africa, Constantia.

From Cape Town you will drive out into the Cape bushveld (3 hrs from Cape Town) for a magical, romantic safari experience at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. You will stay at Dwyka Lodge in your own luxury tent with private plunge pool on the deck. Early mornings and afternoons will be spent on the game vehicle, searching for animals endemic to the Western Cape including the ‘Big 5’ and the extremely rare White Lion species which is exclusive to Sanbona in the Cape. You may also discover some ancient rock art painted centuries ago by the people of the indigenous ‘San’ tribe.
