Arriving in the mother city of Cape Town, you will collect your Avis car rental from the airport and drive yourself 20 minutes to The Mount Nelson Hotel, set on the slopes of Table Mountain, in the heart of this colorful city. Spend 5 nights in this luxurious setting, exploring all that this world renowned metropolitan has to offer, from  the V&A Waterfront, Robben Island, Table Mountain, and the rich history of the Cape.

Then on to the beautiful Steenberg hotel in Constantia, the historical soul of the Cape Winelands. Itinerary (activities listed are a guideline only)

Day 1: Arrive Cape Town International Airport where you will pick up your Avis rental car and drive to The Mount Nelson Hotel 5*, for a 5 night stay. Built in colonial style, the luxurious Mount Nelson is situated on the lower slopes of Table Mountain, ideally located in the heart of Cape Town.

Day 2: The Mount Nelson Hotel 5* – Take a cable car ride up Table Mountain and experience this breathtaking natural wonder and it’s spectacular views.

Day 3: The Mount Nelson Hotel 5* – Visit the world famous V&A Waterfront and take the the Robben Island ferry to Robben Island (place of Nelson Mandela’s incarceration for 27 years).

Day 4: The Mount Nelson Hotel 5* – Take a trip from the V&A Waterfront on the Red Double Decker Hop-on, Hop-off Bus to Groot Constantia Wine Estate and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for lunch at the Silvertree Restaurant in the Gardens.

Day 5: The Mount Nelson Hotel 5* Tour the Cape Peninsula over Chapman’s Peak to the Cape of Good Hope, stopping off at Boulder’s Beach to visit the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach, before enjoying a lovely seafood lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Day 6: Depart the Mount Nelson in the heart of the city, for the historical soul of the Cape Winelands, just 20 minutes away. The Steenberg Hotel 5* is situated in the Constantia Valley and is one of the Cape’s oldest wine farms. Spend the next 5 nights enjoying this beautiful region, with world class golf on your doorstep!

Day 7: The Steenberg Hotel 5* – Enjoy world class golfing at Steenberg or Clovelly golf course.

Day 8: The Steenberg Hotel 5*  Enjoy Hiking, walking or mountain biking in the Constantia Valley Table Mountain National Park Reserves

Day 9: The Steenberg Hotel 5*  Enjoy Steenberg wine tasting and tour of the cellar, and other famous wine producers in the region.

Day 10: The Steenberg Hotel 5* – Enjoy world class golfing at Steenberg or Clovelly golf course.

Day 11: Depart The Steenberg Hotel and drive back to Cape Town International Airport, returning your Avis rental car and connecting onto your flight back home.
