Arrive in Durban where you will collect your Avis car rental and drive across the beautiful countryside, 5 and a half hours to Isibindi Zulu Lodge, set on a pristine private game reserve in the unspoiled Zululand wilderness. Spend 2 nights soaking up the battlefields history, rich culture, and breathtaking landscape. Depart Zulu Lodge and drive one hour to Leopard Mountain Game lodge, a luxurious Big 5 safari destination, set within a pristine reserve of unspoiled bush veld and sparkling rivers, meandering through an ancient forest valley. Finally, make your way to Isibindi Kosi Forest Lodge, a stunning private lodge, set in the beautiful and unspoiled Isimangaliso Wetland Park, an internationally recognized World Heritage Site. Spend 5 nights enjoying the multitude of activities on the beautiful estuary and in the surrounding areas.

Itinerary (activities listed are a guideline only)

Day 1: Arrive at King Shaka International Airport (Durban) where you will collect your hire vehicle and drive 5 1/2 hour to Isibindi Zulu Lodge where you will spend 2 nights. Closest airport is Richard Bay, which is approximately a 2 hour drive away.

Day 2: Isibindi Zulu Lodge – Spend the day exploring this breathtaking reserve.

Day 3: Depart Isibindi Zulu Lodge, Eshowe and drive 1 hour to Leopard Mountain Lodge situated in Hluhluwe.

Day 4: Leopard Mountain Lodge, Hluhluwe – Enjoy a bush walk and encounter the magnificent game on the big 5 reserve.

Day 5: Leopard Mountain Lodge, Hluhluwe – Take part in game activities or venture into the breathtaking surrounds of the reserve

Day 6: Depart Leopard Mountain Lodge, Hluhluwe and drive to Kosi Forest Lodge where you will spend 5 nights.

Day 7: Kosi Forest Lodge – Spend the day exploring the warm waters of Kosi Lakes

Day 8: Kosi Forest Lodge – Enjoy a palm forest walk

Day 9: Kosi Forest Lodge – Take part in exciting marine activities

Day 10: Kosi Forest Lodge – Soak up the warm African sun as you relax on the sandy shores

Day 11: Depart Kosi Forest Lodge and drive back to King Shaka International Airport (Durban) for your flight back to Cape Town.
